Hola de Barranquilla!
Quick update here, more interesting things to come in the following days: The last week as been a blur of orientation lectures in a Spanglish that leaned deeper into Spanish than English - so essentially a blur of Spanish that I semi-understand. We had a pretty full orientation schedule that left me exhausted by 6 pm and in bed by 9:30. Luckily, we had Friday off! A post about Santa Marta will be coming shortly to laptop screens near you.
